80 minute counselling session $200-
Mental Health Care Plans can be used to to access up to 10 counselling sessions per calendar year. Your GP will be able to provide you with this plan. Plans usually consists of an initial 6 sessions, which can then be reviewed by your GP and extended for additional sessions. If you are eligible for Medicare and have a concession card, there will be no cost to you. If you are earning a wage and have a Mental Health Care Plan, there is a $70 gap fee per session.
It is important that you have your Mental Health Care Plan prior to your appointment, otherwise Medicare will not pay for your visit and you will have to pay the full amount.
If you are unable to attend your session please notify my assistant at least 1 business day prior to your booking. If you do not attend your session without any notice, you will be charged for the session you booked.
Due to recent inflation and the government’s refusal to adequately raise the Medicare rebate, I will need to limit the number of bulk billing sessions I can offer. Currently there are no bulk billing spaces available.
